1. Who We Are

QuestGains ("we," "us," or "our") is a fitness and habit-tracking application developed by Eric Cummings. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address and display name provided through Google Sign-In (OAuth).
• Profile data: Username and hero name you set within the app.
• Fitness data: Workout logs, cardio sessions, meal logs, XP, levels, badges, and streaks you create.
• Social data: Friend connections and leaderboard rankings (username and score only).
• Usage data: App interactions and in-app activity for performance analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the QuestGains app and its features.
• To display leaderboards and social features between users.
• To save your progress across devices via Firebase cloud storage.
• To send optional push notifications (only if you enable them).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with:

• Google Firebase: Cloud database and authentication provider.
• Other users: Your username and score are visible on leaderboards if you participate in social features.

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Firebase provides industry-standard security for data at rest and in transit.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your Rights — Deleting Your Data

You have the right to delete your data at any time. You have two options:

• Reset Progress: Wipes all game data (XP, logs, badges, streak) while keeping your account and username. Available in the app under your account settings.
• Delete Account: Permanently deletes your account and all associated data. Available in the app, or request it at:

8. Children's Privacy

QuestGains is not directed at children under the age of 12. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 12. If you believe a child under 12 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Content Moderation

Usernames, hero names, and other user-entered text are filtered for inappropriate content. Content that violates our community standards is automatically rejected.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
